Pere Lachaise Cemetery

I found the Pere Lachaise Cemetery to be a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few hours. I plan to go back this next trip and also to visit some of the other lovely cemeteries in Paris. 3 more days! Paris is calling.
Listen to Daniel Lavoie singing "Paris Calling" in my Deezer playlist to the right.

Cool details and pictures. The first one is very impressive. I think that ...even in life some people can stand forever, without goals, without dreams and it's so sad!
I'm so happy for you dear Karen!
God bless you
Léia :)

Père Lachaise is worth at least a month all by itself... artwork everywhere in there. Guess you are almost on your way now... ENJOY !

I LOVE Père Lachaise and haven't visited it in a long time. It is just across the street from Joseph et Fils, S.A., THE shop for purchasing stoneworker's tools, so I've made many a trip there to stock up with Le Framéricain.

Thank you for coming to and, especially, commenting at Halfway To France!

Amitiés,

PS... I also love Paris in October!
